Now, the manganese ore market run slowly, and the price keeps stable in Asia.
A mine in Malaysia, who produce 7,000-8,000 tons manganese ore 30-35% per month, lamented that they have not concluded any deal recently. As the winter comes, the manganese ore market enter into the low season.
The source revealed that since the third quarter,the demand of manganese ore from China has gradually increased. But now, the demand slow down. It is expected that the manganese ore market will not recover this year.

The source informed that they will not decrease the price, or they can get no profits. Now, they mainly sell their materials to the Chinese traders who come to Indonesia at a little lower price, then Chinese traders are responsible to arrange the shipment to China, because it is hard to do CIF business. For example, the test result from our local SGS is 45%(mn), but in China, it can only reach 40% or lower.
He added that the overall manganese ore prices keep stable, and the transaction volume declined recently.
